Job Duties:

  • Answering incoming calls, emails or chats from customers who need assistance with their queries, complaints or concerns.
  • Providing timely and accurate information to customers regarding product features, services, pricing, and other related queries.
  • Resolving customer issues by providing solutions or escalating them to higher authorities when necessary.
  • Using customer service software and tools to log customer interactions and track progress on customer issues.
  • Maintaining a professional and positive attitude while interacting with customers, providing them with an exceptional customer experience.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with customers in a clear and concise manner is critical for success in this role.
  • Customer service skills: A strong customer service orientation, with the ability to empathise with customers and provide solutions to their problems, is essential.
  • Problem-solving skills: The ability to analyse information, identify issues, and find solutions to customer problems is crucial.
  • Technical skills: Familiarity with customer service software and tools, as well as proficiency in using computers and other office equipment, is necessary.
  • Organisational skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and meet deadlines is important.
  • Time management skills: The ability to manage time effectively, work independently and as part of a team, and meet performance targets is critical.
  • Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records is important.

Pay/Annual Salary

£24,770.30 (Paid monthly in arrears) Working Hours: 40 hours per week (on a 4 week rotation of shifts) 2 weeks of 8:00-16:30, 1 week of 9:30-18:00, 1 week of 12:30-21:00 Only 1 weekend in 4 worked; 8:30am-5pm Saturday and 9:30am-6pm Sunday. When a weekend is worked a day off in the week is given either side of that weekend.

Start of employment - 30 days (including 8 public/bank holidays) On completion of 12 months employment - increases by 1 additional day each year up to 33 days total (including 8 public/bank holidays)

What happens next?

Your application will be reviewed by our team, we may give you a call to learn more about you or to discuss your cv. If we feel like we are a good match we will arrange an interview. You can expect a one stage interview for this role. You will start your “VP” journey by going through our 3 week training! The first 2 weeks will be spent in the classroom learning our systems, product specifications and delivery services that we offer. The third week will be spent doing on the job training. This means that our friendly and experienced trainer and support team will be there on hand if you get stuck or want to double check anything you have learned. After your training is completed, that is when the fun really starts, you will move to work within one of our four teams in the department on your rotating shift pattern, don’t worry you will get your shifts for the whole year in your first week of training!
