Keswick 1800 x 470 Cast Iron Style Traditional 2 Column Anthracite Radiator with Twin Towel Rails

Keswick radiator twin towel rail

26th September 2023

Looks amazing in my bathroom, a real statement piece. Amazing quality radiator that really kicks out the heat. Holds its heat for ages aswell. One criticism would be the twin towel rails are set slightly too close to the radiator. Bit of a squeeze to get the towels on, just another centimeter further from the columns would really help. Other than that an amazing powerful bathroom radiator and something different.

FAQ's

Our extensive collection of anthracite grey radiators includes radiators in a variety of shapes, sizes and designs. This ranges from more traditional small grey radiators through to stunning anthracite vertical radiators. But before you choose your new anthracite grey radiator, take a look at some of these frequently asked questions.

What is anthracite grey?

Anthracite is a type of coal which has a very notable dark grey appearance. As a colour choice, anthracite grey is becoming ever more popular, particularly as it can provide a softer contrast when paired with other colours or material choices like chrome. More traditional choices like black and white provide much starker contrasts. When it comes to radiators, anthracite works well to give a bathroom, kitchen or any other room a really modern look.

Should I choose a radiator or heated towel radiator?

Even if you've decided that anthracite grey is the perfect colour choice for your bathroom, you'll still need to weigh up the pros and cons of a traditional grey radiator against a heated anthracite towel rail. A traditional radiator will produce more heat output than a heated towel rail. What this generally means is that you'll probably want to go for a radiator if you've a larger bathroom, but a towel rail can be perfectly suitable for a smaller space.

Should I go vertical or horizontal?

Whether you opt for a vertical or horizontal anthracite radiator ultimately comes down to the size of your room and the kind of design aesthetic you're trying to achieve. Horizontal radiators are a little more efficient and provide higher heat output than their vertical counterparts, although the heat you need is dependent on the size of your room. Vertical radiators, on the other hand, offer a bold design choice, particularly when they come in a striking, modern colour like anthracite grey.
