What are the benefits of traditional radiators?

Are traditional radiators efficient?

Traditional radiators can provide effective and efficient heating when they are correctly sized for the room and used with a suitable heating system. Their design doesn't inherently make them less efficient than other radiator styles.

 

What size traditional radiator do I need?

The size of traditional radiator you need depends on your room's heat requirements and the space available for installation. 

As well as wall space, consider factors such as overall room size, insulation, windows, external walls and ceiling height when working out the required BTU output. Once you know the BTU you need, choose a traditional radiator that provides enough heat, while also fitting comfortably on your available wall space.

Are traditional radiators suitable for modern homes?

Yes, traditional radiators don't need to be limited to period properties or strictly vintage inspired interiors. Their designs can add character to modern interiors too, particularly when paired with contemporary finishes such as anthracite, matt black or raw metal.

 

Can I get traditional radiators for bathrooms?

Yes, traditional style radiators can work really well in bathrooms, provided that the model and installation are suitable for the space.
