Look good but don’t stick well
28th August 2026The tiles look great for what they are, I have since found them much cheaper elsewhere but never mind that’s on me for not looking around first They look good, not easy to put on and the edges DO NOT stay stuck down I have to restick edges on the them all over every day, they will do for now as have tidied up the kitchen but long term I don’t think they will last as the edges that lift are soon going to lose stickiness and will look messy so may have to actually tile eventually For the money I expected better quality, a friend got a cheaper set on Amazon which worked fine, had to get these as I wanted the bigger individual tiles and all the others had really small tile size

FAQ's
What types of white kitchen tiles are available?
Our white kitchen tiles come in a wide range of styles, shapes and finishes, making it easy to find an option to suit your kitchen.
- Metro tiles are a popular choice for walls and splashbacks, offering a classic brick-inspired look.
- Kitkat tiles create a contemporary feel with their slim, elongated shape.
- Checkerboard tiles can be used to create a bold patterned floor or wall.
From subway brick, to hexagonal or square tiles, there are plenty of white kitchen tile options to choose from, whatever your interior design preferences.
You can also choose between different finishes, including gloss, matt and textured designs.
Are gloss or matt white kitchen tiles better?
Both gloss and matt white kitchen tiles can work beautifully in a kitchen, so the best option depends on the look and practicality you're after.
- Gloss tiles have a smooth, reflective surface that helps bounce light around the room, making them a great choice for smaller or darker kitchens. They're also well suited to splashbacks and kitchen walls, where their smooth surface can be easy to wipe clean.
- Matt tiles offer a softer finish with less reflection, making them a good choice if you prefer a more contemporary or natural look. They're also a popular option for kitchen floors, where a matt finish can be more practical.
Are white kitchen tiles easy to keep clean?
Yes, white kitchen tiles are generally easy to maintain with regular cleaning. Their suitability for kitchens will depend on the material and finish.
Gloss tiles can be particularly useful for splashbacks as their smooth surface is easy to wipe down, while textured or matt tiles may require a little more care to keep clean.
What material is best for white kitchen floor tiles?
Porcelain and ceramic are both popular choices for white kitchen floor tiles.
- Porcelain is highly durable and has low water absorption, making it well suited to busy kitchen floors.
- Ceramic offers a wide variety of styles and can be a practical choice for many kitchens.
Whichever material you prefer, make sure the tiles you choose are rated for floor use and suitable for the level of traffic in your kitchen.
Do white kitchen tiles work with colourful kitchen units?
Yes, white kitchen tiles are an excellent neutral choice for coloured kitchen units. Their versatility means they can be paired with almost any colour, from deep navy and forest green to soft blue or sage.
For a cohesive look, consider choosing a white tile finish or style that complements your units. For example, classic white metro tiles with traditional cabinetry, or contemporary kitkat tiles alongside modern, colourful units.
