Parquet Effect Tiles

Shop our collection of parquet effect tiles. Parquet tiles are designed to replicate traditional wooden parquet flooring, which features intricate geometric patterns typically formed from strips of solid wood. Parquet effect tiles bring this classic style into a more practical form by using ceramic or porcelain materials to mimic the appearance of natural wood.

Our parquet effect tiles are available in a variety of colours, shades and finishes to suit any design vision. From the warm tones of walnut and natural oak to the lighter hues of birch, there’s a shade to complement every room. For contemporary interior design schemes, stylish grey tones offer a modern alternative.

Parquet effect tiles are versatile enough to be used in virtually any area of the home. Parquet effect floor tiles are perfect for high traffic areas like kitchens, hallways and living rooms. Their water resistant properties also make them suitable for bathrooms, while the visually striking parquet patterns can be used to create a focal point in any space.

High quality finish

Really nice ceramic tile, high quality finish. The timber effect grain is not over exaggerated and provides an effective texture to the tile. The pattern gives the timber effect tile floor a uniqueness. Very happy with the product. Delivery was as advertised with no issues or breakages.

FAQ's

Parquet effect tiles bring all the charm of traditional wood flooring with none of the upkeep. Warm, textured and built to last, it’s that classic woven look, minus the stress. Here’s how to choose, use and nail parquet effect tiles.

What are parquet effect tiles?

They’re tiles designed to look and feel like parquet wood; textured, printed and shaped to mimic everything from intricate basketweave patterns to herringbone and chevron designs. Unlike traditional parquet flooring, this means that there’s no warping, no sanding, and no worries about humidity, stains or scratches.

Do parquet effect tiles look realistic?

Very. Thanks to modern printing, you’ll get natural grain variation with no obvious repeats, textured finishes with depth and detail, and subtle knots and tonal shifts for a natural feel.

What colour should I go for?

It depends on the vibe you’re going for. If you want something bright and airy, go for lighter tones like birch or pale oak. These help open up smaller rooms and bounce light around. For a warm feel, traditional oak or honey tones bring that lived-in charm that works beautifully in living rooms or bedrooms. If you prefer something more minimal, cool-toned greys work brilliantly with black fixtures and monochrome styling.

Are they tricky to lay?

Not compared to real wood parquet but planning is key. To get it right:

  • Dry-lay a section to test the pattern flow
  • Keep grout lines tight (2 to 3mm) for a wood-like finish
  • Use levelling clips to avoid lips on larger tiles
  • Centre your pattern on the focal point (like a bath or island)

If you’re tiling yourself and unsure on layout, it’s worth calling in a tiler for that stage; it’ll make all the difference.

Which trims and accents work well?

Parquet effect tiles pair well with brushed brass, matt black trims and chrome accents. Want to bring it all together? Add oak shelves, woven baskets or soft neutral towels for pulled-together finish.
