Are they tricky to lay?

They're much simpler to lay than traditional wood parquet. The parquet pattern is printed on larger tiles, so you don't have to position each small piece of wood individually. The layout still needs some planning, though.

Dry lay a section first and check how the pattern meets where neighbouring tiles join. Try different orientations to avoid an unwanted cross or an obvious break in the design. Once you're happy with the layout, follow the tile and grout manufacturer's guidance on joint width, and allow for cuts around the edges of the room when deciding where to start.
