What are bevelled tiles?
Bevelled tiles have sloped edges that catch the light and add depth to your walls. That slight angle gives the grout lines a sharper look, adding texture to your space. Pair them with a similar grout colour for a softer finish, or choose a contrasting grout to bring out the shape of each tile. They're a good choice for kitchen splashbacks, shower walls and feature areas where you want visual interest without relying on a bold colour or pattern.
What is the best trim for bevelled wall tiles?
There isn't one best trim for every bevelled tile. Metal trim gives a crisp edge and comes in finishes such as brushed and polished, while plastic trim offers a different look and is often less expensive. PVC can discolour over time, depending on its quality and where it's fitted, so consider the location as well as the finish you prefer.
Whichever material you choose, check the trim's depth against the tile thickness and adhesive bed, as this is what determines whether it covers the exposed edge of your bevelled wall tiles neatly.
Are bevelled tiles hard to clean?
Not at all. The sloped edges can collect a bit more dust or soap residue than flat tiles but it’s nothing a quick wipe can’t handle.
