What's the difference between a quadrant shower enclosure and an offset quadrant shower enclosure?

It may sound technical, but offset quadrant enclosures are simply quadrant shower enclosures that have been slightly stretched, providing extra showering space. The easiest way to describe an offset quadrant enclosure is as a combination of a square shower enclosure and a quadrant enclosure.

Like a standard quadrant shower enclosure, it fits neatly into a corner and has a shape similar to a slice of pizza, but the offset version extends slightly to the side, which gives it its name. This makes offset quadrants particularly useful when you want a more generous shower without taking up as much floor space as a square or rectangular enclosure.

 

What's in the box when buying an offset quadrant shower enclosure?

An offset quadrant enclosure includes the shower glass, doors, rollers and fixings. Some models come with a shower tray, but not all do, so it’s important to check each product before purchasing.

 

And what's not?

Chances are, your shower enclosure will not include a shower tray. For an offset quadrant enclosure, you’ll need a matching offset quadrant shower tray. To complete your shower setup, you’ll also need a shower unit, as these are not included with the enclosure.
