Package delivered with care by courier (honestly) and I checked it before hand, no sign of dents etc. However when I opened everything up, found that the back board (which is thankfully out of sight) had a split where it has been subjected to weight in box. OK, its out of sight so I could cope with that. I started to put the item together, instructions not brilliant, and found that two of the fittings were missing from the packaging. Rather than mess about contacting the suppliers, I sourced them locally with a little research. Looks nice when put together, but disappointed with everything else. These are issues at manufacturing level, which supplier would be unaware of, but should take up with the importers.
Great product - only thing was the left front corner at the top had a ding - but I'm not too concerned as it's high so not easily noticeable. Otherwise easy to build abd looks very good
The Alaska range is well finished to a high white gloss and supplied assembled. Bathrooms can be difficult rooms in which to install furniture do to the routing of soil pipes and other plumbing but units can be easily cut down to allow for obstacles. The tops of the units are individual but can be easily removed in favour of installing a continuous or tiled work surface. The variety of widths and depths available should provide storage solutions for most locations. Whilst fitting can be built in, similar to kitchen units, this range can also provide freestanding "loose" furniture within the bathroom
As one of the most important parts of any home, it's important that your bathroom is practical to use on a regular basis. Besides the obvious things like showers and suites, there is another essential thing you need to consider; bathroom cabinets and storage. Here, we'll explain what your options are and why they may be beneficial to you.
There are plenty of fixtures available for you to choose from, coming in a wide range of shapes, sizes and finishes.
Drawer units: The most basic option. These units are designed to offer great practicality, allowing you to keep all your toiletries neatly stored out of the way, keeping the bathroom clutter free.
Freestanding units: These come in numerous styles, such as tallboy units and open base units. You can also get display cabinets which have windows in the door so you can neatly arrange your selection of shampoos and lotions for everyone to see.
Tall storage units: A great choice for larger bathrooms, these taller units allow you to keep a wide range of products neatly displayed as many of them feature an array of shelves inside.
Wall hung cabinets: If you want to save space, or have a smaller bathroom then these units are ideal as they won't take up any floor space. There are also ideal if you have small children and want to keep any medicines or razor blades out of reach.
Mirrored cabinets: Ideal for when you need to shave or apply make-up of a morning. These wall hung designs are a practical upgrade that no bathroom should be without; some of them even feature built-in shaver sockets and digital clocks!
Of course! In fact many of our bathroom cabinets and storage fixtures have been designed to complement each other perfectly, meaning you can create a bespoke finish. Adding matching furniture is one of the best ways to give your bathroom a sleek, designer edge.
Many of our cabinets and storage solutions are supplied rigid instead of being flat packed so you won't need to worry too much about putting things together. Just make sure to double check the product description of any item you're interested in as this should explain whether you need to assemble it or not.
