Buyer beware

This is a great cabinet, but the item itself does not exactly match the description. The photo shows that the door opens to the right - it doesn't. It's not as simple as flipping it round due to the fittings and the position of the screw hole in the back panel. We were worried it would affect the warranty if we drilled another hole. Eventually I got through to someone at VP who said they'd had this query before and that we can drill another hole in the panel to be able to hang it the way it is shown on the website. Other than that faff it's a good sturdy cabinet. The inside is also slightly different to that shown on the website, but nothing that affects its use.

My bathroom cabinet

This was a good purchase. A solid and well made piece of furniture. (actually the second of two identical bathroom cabinets). I particularly liked the mirrored door (mirrored on both sides). Just one issue: the unit sold opens from the right. This is not made obvious at purchase. However, Victorian plumbing did correctly advise me of this prior to purchase. However, buy turning the unit upside down, it will then have a left hand opening. Both ends of the unit do work with the wall mounted support strip. However, you will then need to drill a hole in the unit to further secure it to the wall. I remain very pleased with my purchase!

All great, except it would have been very useful to have hole in the back for electrical wire, as a lamp was placed on top. A hole plug could also then be supplied, if it wasn't needed.
