Toilet Flush Plates

A new flush plate can replace a broken button or give your toilet a different finish. These answers cover what will work with your cistern, what will fit the existing opening and what you'll get with your replacement.

 

Will any flush plate work with my cistern?

No. Flush plates are made for particular cisterns, and even plates from the same brand may fit different ranges. If you're replacing one, the make and model of the cistern behind it will help you find a compatible plate.

 

Do I need a whole toilet flush plate or just a new button?

It depends on what's broken. If only the flush button has failed, a compatible replacement button may be all you need. If the plate is damaged or you want a different finish, you may want to replace the whole visible fitting. Our range includes both larger plates and smaller buttons fitted through WC units.

 

Will a new flush plate cover the old opening?

It depends on its dimensions. A larger toilet flush or a button fitted through a WC unit, the size of the drilled hole matters too. The new plate or toilet flush button still needs to fit and operate your cistern, even if it covers the opening neatly.

 

Does a new flush button come with everything I need?

It depends on the button. Some come with the parts needed to fit them, while others may need a part from your old one. If the button and the piece holding it in place have both broken, make sure the new one includes both.
