This was purchased to compliment the 800 vanity unit in the same range for a bathroom refit (reviewed separately). The build quality is great - it's also pretty heavy because of this so make sure you use decent fixings to carry it! Some would argue that it's perhaps expensive for what it is but when you see the finished job you'll be glad you bought it. The only thing that let it down was the quality of the shelf fixings inside which were quite cheap plastic but if you're careful when setting the position you shouldn't have any further problems with it.
I ordered this for a customer who was wanting a large traditional vanity to replace a tired one on a bathroom refit. When I saw the price I was a bit worried about what the build quality would be like but I have to say I am more than happy to recommend this to my future customers with a similar requirement. Looks fantastic in the finished bathroom. Great value for money and looks more expensive than it cost!
I bought a variety of Alska products to fit out our bathroom. They look excellent and the quality if good. My only criticism is that the back to wall toilet panel requires fitting and the instructions could do with a template to make the job easier. The toilet and cistern seem to use a non-UK spec pipe, which is fine, except the seal on mine was very poor and so took a while to get a fit that didn't leak. My local DIY merchant did not have anything remotely the same size as the one supplied. However, on the whole, this didn't cause me any major problems and I still think the service and quality of the units is very good.
