Combined toilet and sink

Unit is glossy chipboard. Not very good. Chips very easily. Poor quality. Toilet seat very good quality, sink good quality. No waste came with item. Flusher hard to push. And plumber has to cut into unit to accommodate the flusher.

Toilet Seat

Very good idea love the shape but the toilet seat is very cheap flimsy and moves about when sitting on it apart from that it is good, but not the toilet seat.

Not long lasting

We had ours fitted about 3 years ago. It's starting to show signs of warping and water damage on the cabinet. It does say it's water resistant but I expected it to last longer.

Not as Good as It Looks

The quality is pretty poor. After a year of having it the paint is lifting up with the water off the sink. The water keeps running after flushing, this started quite soon after installation. Managed to fix it but it started running again.

The Crucial Issue Is the Connections

Upgrade the connections as some of the seals it arrives with are pretty flimsy- plastic not rubber and not well made - just pay for the better quality rubber seals and flanges It might cost an additional 10 quid at a plumbing store - but it is worth to have a no problem installation.

Looks Great!

Looks fantastic even though the loo seat is a bit wobbly (could that be the fitters?) When you purchase a tap (which doesn't come with it) make sure the spout is clear of the side of the bowl, I thought I'd measured it correctly but it's definitely not long enough as the water goes everywhere!

Be careful what tap you buy with this, CRU008 is too small FYI.

The website suggested that I purchase the Cruze Cloakroom Mini Basin Mixer Tap (Part No.: CRU008).Note that this tap is far too small for the basin. It just about reaches over the basin. You can just about get your hands under the tap and this results in a lot of water doing down the side of the unit onto the floor. I've just had to buy a larger mixer tap (Neptune Single Lever Kitchen Sink Mixer Tap with Swivel Spout CP05). That reaches over the basin so you can wash your hands without water going everywhere.

Does the tap feed H and C come through the cistern or are the pipes routed separately?

What is the gallons (or litres) per flush?

Does this unit have to have soil pipe going directly through the wall or can it be plumbed via a 90 degree angle through the floor.

Hi there Brian, The basin drain can be connected to the flush pipe from the cistern to the pan to increase the volume of water entering the pan, however, it cannot run into the cistern. Hope this helps! Shaun

Please confirm that the tap is a mixer tap for hot as well as cold water.

Hi J, We would recommend single handle basin taps with a spout projection of more than 100mm to the centre of the outlet. This will allow ample space for you to wash your hands. Hope this helps!

Does the waste water from the sink go into the flush tank ?

Hey Cazza, The basin waste on this Metro Combined Basin + Toilet is connected to a soil pipe and separate from the cistern. The waste water from the basin does not fill the cistern. All the best, Shaun
