Heating element will not switch off
Nice looking piece of kit. However there is a low noise emitted all the time, and i don't think the heater element does not appear to switch off, so always on and not always required. Overall, quite costly for what it is ?

Not silent
Not enough depth for block connectors behind. Now that it’s connected it emits a low continual hum. As it’s in ensuite it’s going to be interesting to see if I hear it in bed at night !??

I'm Happy!
The mirror is now installed and I am satisfied with my purchase. Luckily, my mains feed was directly behind but otherwise you might have problems keeping things tidy as there is no option for a side-entry for the cable. A previous reviewer stated that the demister is permanently on - I took this up with the manufacturer c/o Victorian Plumping and they confirmed that this is not the case - obviously! In fact, the demister turns off automatically after 30 minutes. There is a small clear area at the bottom of the mirror, but I believe that this is caused by some very slight warmth produced by the pilot light or its transformer. I have only given an average rating for value as I think that it is reasonably priced, but certainly nothing to jump up and down about unless you can get it during a sale!

Demister heater is permanently on
A nice looking mirror. There?s a permanently illuminated touch spot near the foot of the mirror for turning on the led lights. The demister heater on the other hand remains permanently on rather than just when you switch on the lights. It?s not possible to connect the two as the mirror?s 12v and the demister?s mains, and being on 24 hours a day will be costing you unless you wire in a separate pull cord switch for every time you switch on the mirror. As the mirror?s in an infrequently used shower room, I?ve disconnected the demister thus losing one of the mirror?s prime functions. All in all rather disappointing.
