Oxford Traditional Toilet with Soft Close Seat White Ash Seat

Toilet was fine and delivery excellent. The inlet & outlet along with flushing handle for this toilet are such poor quality. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before hand. We had to replace the internal parts and handle on the installation as parts were so poor. Also the white ash toilet seat we purchased is of no size and unsuitable for adults. Again purchased another seat elsewhere.

The flush handle appears to spin round when flushed leading to a complaint from the customer but has been installed as per manufacturer instructions.

Plumber had to replace the handle the day after fitting, also whilst the toilet looks good, inside the cistern the standard falls, my plumber had to replace everything with better quality in order for the system to flush. Taking in additional expense for parts and the plumbers time it becomes an expense toilet and therefore I would say poor value for money. It looks nice visually but sadly doesn’t work from the minute it’s installed all our replacements were on the day of installation, I note other comments regarding the same problem.

Wanted something traditional for my Victorian house and this certainly fit the bill. Looks classy and expensive. Perfect.

The unit itself looks great, and fits very well with the style we were going for. Unfortunately, the seat that came with it does not fit well - the rim of the toilet bowl is quite thin, and although the blocks underneath the seat are quite wide, the fittings for the seat are not tight and when you sit on it, it slips sideways (and has caused injury already) so we need to replace that. The fill unit included (not sure what its called, but the bit the controls how much water goes into the cistern), has also been replaced. It wasn't adjustable much and at its highest point, it was only half filling the cistern, and as a result the toilet wasn't flushing properly. My plumber had to fit a new fill, and now it works great.

Just had this fitted and looks great. Exactly as in the picture. Can’t comment on the fitting as we had someone fit for us.
