This ABS Bar Valve is designed to be wall mounted, the valve is thermostatic allowing the user to control the temperature from the bar valve. The valve is designed and manufactured by leading bathroom brand Nuie, Nuie deliver high quality products at great value. The outlet connection is located on the bottom/Base of the valve.

I'm afraid in this style the outlet only goes down, you may be able to plumb it a different way but you will need to discus this with your plumbing as im not sire of the implications it may have. alternatively we sell many more different style that may be more suited to you, please follow this link . /vpsearch.aspx?searchText=Thermostatic%20valve

Size between inlets +/-25mm?

Hi, the Premier ABS Round Bar Valve has a 25mm adjustment as advised by the manufacturer. Hope this helps!

My mains cold water is quite powerful, can this mixer cope with that or do I need some sort of pressure reducing valve?

This depends on your bar pressure, which your plumber would be able to advise. This item requires a minimum pressure of 0.5 bar, generally up to 3.0 bar.

What is the button on the on/off handle for?

It will be a heat restriction button, if you want it hotter than safety standards advice.

Is there an adjustable connector for the rear inlets? Or is i fixed at 150mm? I need 130mm

The distance between the hot and cold outlets are approx 150mm

is this suitable for a combi boiler system ?

Yes, as long as the pressures are balanced between the hot and cold feeds.
