Damaged tiles
13th June 2026The only advice I would offer you is to reduce the number of tiles to eight per wrap and wrap them in foam packing. This would reduce the amount of damage, as I received three boxes with a lot of broken tiles due to a lack of adequate packing protection. Even the replacement you sent me hassle-free had a lot of damaged tiles. Otherwise, you supplied me with an outstanding product.

FAQ's
Want to make a statement? Geometric tiles do it without the noise. Clean lines, repeated shapes and structured patterns give your space that designer feel. Here’s what to know before you get started.
What are geometric tiles?
Geometric tiles are all about shape and rhythm. They use repeating forms, like diamonds, hexagons, cubes and classic Art Deco angles, to create movement and visual interest. All in all, they’re a great way to add detail without going overboard on colour or accessories.
Where can geometric tiles be used?
Most are rated for both walls and floors so they’re incredibly versatile. Popular uses for geometric tiles include:
- Patterned hallway floors that set the tone as soon as you walk in
- Standout splashbacks or eye-catching island surrounds in kitchens
- Feature floors or full shower zones in bathrooms
- Zoning in open-plan living areas
- Creating a real focal point around the fireplace
Will geometric tiles make my room feel smaller?
Not if you choose the right pattern and scale. In smaller rooms, go for mid-size formats like 225 by 225mm tiles. These will provide enough detail without crowding the space. In larger areas, don’t be afraid to go bold. Use contrast and even border tiles to frame the room and ground the design.
Are geometric tiles tricky to install?
Some patterns need a bit of planning but it’s nothing a bit of preparation can’t handle.
Start from the centre of your room or feature wall. Then, dry-lay a section to check how the pattern flows. Make sure you use tile spacers to keep everything consistent.
If in doubt, show your tiler a photo of the finished look; it’s a big help.
