Close Coupled Comfort Height Toilets

Ideal height and does away with those awful separate seat raisers. Found getting the fittings into the cistern tricky if you followed the instructions there wasn't enough space. The rubber donut didn't fit on the flush pipe well so wouldn't stay in place when you put the cistern and pan together so a bit fiddly. Despite adjusting water levels I still can't get it to flush everything away but I'm not a plumber!

I had a hip-replacement operation some months ago. To help counter the inevitable reduced mobility this caused I was given a plastic booster seat which fitted to the top of my WC. That was fine for me but visitors were reluctant to use it, and I can understand why. To avoid this problem I decided to replace my earlier WC with the tallest one I could find, which turned out to be the Burlington Regal which, when you take the lid into account, is a couple of centimeters taller than my original WC plus booster seat. I'm pleased I made the change.
