This refined Burlington Close Coupled Toilet suits a classic interior scheme. It's crafted from vitreous china with a glossy white finish and features a simple lever handle inlaid with ceramic for extra detail. Projecting just 730mm from the wall, this close coupled toilet is a good match for smaller spaces. It also has a dual flush mechanism to help save water and a special Nano Glaze coating that makes the bowl exceptionally easy to clean. Tall toilet pan

I had a hip-replacement operation some months ago. To help counter the inevitable reduced mobility this caused I was given a plastic booster seat which fitted to the top of my WC. That was fine for me but visitors were reluctant to use it, and I can understand why. To avoid this problem I decided to replace my earlier WC with the tallest one I could find, which turned out to be the Burlington Regal which, when you take the lid into account, is a couple of centimeters taller than my original WC plus booster seat. I'm pleased I made the change.

Good looking - poor performance

This is a good looking toilet and I was very pleased with the flush option of a short or long flush. However I think the design is flawed as there is a need to use a brush every time it is used ‘in anger’. Considering it is a comfort height toilet for those less abled, having to clean it every time is unhelpful. To be clear it replaced a standard toilet of similar design which was not at comfort height and we did not suffer the same issues.
