Good shower tray, recommended over the "high grip" one.

Very heavy (window sucker handles are a godsend here to help you move it as it is >20kg in weight) and works fine w/ the riser kit, it looks very premium, the deep tray is very appealing for a family. The riser kit is plastic and seems like would struggle w/ weight, but in reality it's absolutely fine and preferred as can access the trap in case of future issues. My one criticism at install (DIY) is the waste kit. - it advocates for a zero silicon solution using screw and the rubber ring on top of the trap to achieve a water tight seal, however this requires the bottom to be smoothed (by the manufacturer) to perfectly flat, and ours wasn't. No matter how it was configured, always had a tiny leak as not completely level and no amount of tightening would achieve a seal. Had to resort to using a spare rubber gasket ring and silicone to complete the seal (complete DIY hodgepodge, could very much have sent it back but quite simply did not have the time or headspace). - it is worth noting the same issue has been reported on some DIY channels on YT (SkillBuilder), seems to be an issue at the manufacturer process. Given this tray is >£200, you want to be confident the product you get works as intended. Summary: - very premium, very nice tray, works really good w/ riser kit. - issue w/ trap and tray seal due to the bottom of tray not feeling completely flat, which forced a bit of a DIY solution.
