Warm Bathroom at Last
1st May 2022
Our bathroom has three external walls and used to be so cold in the winter our children couldn't have a bath just a shower so that they could get out of there as quick as they could. We had this radiator installed and the heat it gives out is truly amazing! It's made an enormous difference to our bathroom and made it so cosy and warm we can use the bath any time of year now. It is a heavy radiator though so I'd advise purchasing the optional feet for it. Overall it looks wonderful and does a great job!

Great looking rads. I have replaced every radiator in our house with these beauties. They are HEAVY and great quality. We opted for vertical in the Lounge and Kitchen. And standard horizontal all upstairs. They get many compliments.

3 Column Vertical Radiator
2nd Feb 2022
This is a late review after 2 months after installation but wanted to wait a while before making any recommendation. Radiator bought for a 30x15 room which had 2 radiators already but in the cold months only got the room reasonably warm. I bought this 3 column large radiator based on on the 7000+ heat output! I am absolutely thrilled at the heat output, due to its size takes a few more minutes for all panels to start blasting out the heat. In fact the room gets so hot now I have to switch it off for 45 minutes or bring in the portable device to keep the room at the temperature I desire. It was an absolute superb addition to the room, and worth spending a little more to get the room heated up as it should be. Looks very stylish and would highly recommend

FAQs

If you?re looking to redesign the heating system in your home and would like to go for classic styling, then column radiators may be just what you?re looking for. Column radiators are hollow tubed radiators made from cast iron or mild steel, able to add texture and character to your space.

What are the benefits of having column radiators?

Panel radiators are most common in homes across the UK. However column radiators should not be overlooked. Their robust style and large surface area allows for excellent energy efficient heating.

While they are often associated with traditional interior design, column radiators are an excellent choice for both modern and traditional rooms. The elegant columns featured in column radiators come in horizontal and vertical shapes and many colours to suit whatever your style. They're also great space savers as many can be wall mounted.

How good are column radiators at permitting heat?

Vintage build column radiators can offer even the tallest of rooms a high heat output rate. When compared to panel radiators, column radiators have been found to permit greater heat from the main body. The larger surface area makes column radiators superior in heating rooms faster without using up more energy.

Is there any difference between a 2 column and 3 column radiator?

Yes. Two column radiators feature two long panels, whereas three column radiators have three long panels. The more columns your radiator has, the bigger it will be, and the bigger your radiator, the more heat it will dispense. For more information on buying a radiator, visit our Radiator Buying Guide.
