Square Shower Trays
Square shower trays are the tidy, no-nonsense option. Equal sides make them easy to plan around, and they sit nicely in corners or alcoves without stealing extra floor space. Available in a wide range of sizes, materials and finishes, square trays offer a straightforward choice if you’re shopping for a reliable shower tray that’s easy to buy and install.
Square shower trays are a brilliant fit for en-suites, cloakroom bathrooms and tighter layouts where you still want a proper enclosure. They give you a defined shower zone without the longer run of a rectangular shower tray. With multiple size options available, it’s easy to compare models and choose a square tray that fits your layout and budget.
Start with the footprint, then think about how you want your square shower tray to sit in the room. Low profile trays give a cleaner look, while raised options can be a lifesaver if you need room for pipework underneath. Want extra reassurance underfoot? Filter by anti slip and you’ll see the grippier options straight away.

13th September 2026Good shower tray, recommended over the "high grip" one.

Looks great, slight issue with waste seal
13th September 2026Very heavy (window sucker handles are a godsend here to help you move it as it is >20kg in weight) and works fine w/ the riser kit, it looks very premium, the deep tray is very appealing for a family. The riser kit is plastic and seems like would struggle w/ weight, but in reality it's absolutely fine and preferred as can access the trap in case of future issues. My one criticism at install (DIY) is the waste kit. - it advocates for a zero silicon solution using screw and the rubber ring on top of the trap to achieve a water tight seal, however this requires the bottom to be smoothed (by the manufacturer) to perfectly flat, and ours wasn't. No matter how it was configured, always had a tiny leak as not completely level and no amount of tightening would achieve a seal. Had to resort to using a spare rubber gasket ring and silicone to complete the seal (complete DIY hodgepodge, could very much have sent it back but quite simply did not have the time or headspace). - it is worth noting the same issue has been reported on some DIY channels on YT (SkillBuilder), seems to be an issue at the manufacturer process. Given this tray is >£200, you want to be confident the product you get works as intended. Summary: - very premium, very nice tray, works really good w/ riser kit. - issue w/ trap and tray seal due to the bottom of tray not feeling completely flat, which forced a bit of a DIY solution.

Excellent shower tray with riser kit
19th June 2026Our plumbing is above FFL and the riser kit accommodates this perfectly. Great quality, sleek design, and fits nicely with our Apollo Frameless RH Hinged Door Square Enclosure.
