Frequently Asked Questions
How to clean shower doors?
To effectively clean shower doors, you will need the following: a squeegee, glass cleaner, a non-scratch sponge, and a microfibre cloth or towel. First, take your glass cleaner and spray the surface of your doors. Let that sit for a few minutes. Next, take your non-scratch sponge and scrub the shower doors from top to bottom. After this, rinse them down with your shower head to remove all of the cleaning solution. Finally, dry your shower door using the microfiber cloth or towel.
Do you measure shower doors by the glass size or including the frame?
Sizes provided in the titles of our shower doors correspond to the size of the shower tray they'll fit against. Please note; the shower door itself won't be, for example, 1500mm if it's to be used with a 1500mm x 1500mm shower tray. This is to make room for a side panel (if one is to be used) or tiling if the shower door is to be fitted in a fixed recess. Accurate measurements of shower doors can be found in the 'Dimensions' tab.
How thick are your glass shower doors?
Glass thicknesses for our collection of glass shower doors range from 4mm to 10mm. Thicker glass will make your shower enclosure feel more substantial but will, in turn, require more force when opening and closing. Thinner glass shower doors, however, are easier to move and install due to their lighter weight. The overwhelming majority are constructed of toughened safety glass.
