Type 21 Radiators
Type 21 radiators have two heating panels with one row of convector fins between them. You may also see them described as P+ or double panel single convector radiators. The extra panel gives them more heating surface than a Type 11 radiator, while keeping the design slimmer than most Type 22 models.
Type 21 sits neatly between single panel and double convector radiators. It can give you more heat without taking up as much room from the wall as a Type 22 radiator. Our range includes mostly horizontal designs alongside selected vertical models, with widths from compact 400mm options to double panel plus radiators over 2000mm wide.
With outputs starting below 2000 BTU and plenty of models providing more than 5000 BTU, there’s a broad range of heating power to choose from. Work out how many BTUs the room needs first, then compare the dimensions and output of each radiator. A Type 21 can be a useful choice when you need more heat than a comparable Type 11 without moving up to a deeper Type 22.

What is a Type 21 radiator?
