Frequently Asked Questions
Do pivot shower doors include the frame?
Yes, our pivot shower doors come with everything you need to fit them in a recess or to a side panel (sold separately) in order to create a full enclosure. Shower trays are also not included unless otherwise stated. Select a high-quality option in our comprehensive shower tray range.
Can pivot shower doors be installed to be opened inside the shower?
We strongly advise against this as it would make moving around whilst in the shower very difficult. Showering would likely be unsafe. However, you are able to change the shower door opening from left to right-hand opening on most of our showers.
What is the difference between a hinged shower door and a pivot shower door?
Hinged doors function in the same way as regular doors, by using side-mounted hinges. With these, you don't need a header or top support in order to secure the door in place - giving your shower a frameless look. Pivot shower doors differ as they are fixed at the top and bottom of the door, allowing them to pivot whilst staying in place. They usually have a smaller opening radius than hinged doors, making them ideal for smaller bathrooms.
