Type 22 Double Panel Radiators
Type 22 radiators, also known as K2 or double panel double convector radiators, have two heating panels with two rows of convector fins between them. That gives them more heated surface area than Type 11 radiators and Type 21 designs, helping them produce a higher heat output from comparable heights and widths.
More panels and fins generally mean more heat, but they also make a Type 22 radiator deeper than a Type 21 radiator. That trade off can work particularly well when you need plenty of warmth but don’t want to use more wall width. Just check the projection as well as the height and width before you choose.
