    • Q.  I have purchased this shower and the bracket holding the secondary head seems very loose. The push button does not seem to lock the bracket in place. It hasn't started to slip down yet, but it doesn't take much force to move it up and down, without pressing the button on the bracket. Is this right?

    • Q.  I have an issue with Temperature control. I either get scalding hot water or Ice cold. There does not seem to be any ajustment. This unit has not been used more than a dozen times how can the thermostat be faulty ? as it clearly is and what do I do next. The shower cannot be used as its too hot
      1 Answers

      Answer:

Hi, Thanks for your question. If the hot and cold feeds are crossed ( Should be Hot left / Cold right ) on a thermostatically controlled shower valve then you will get temperature control issues. The feeds will need to be crossed over and fitted correctly. You can also have a similar problem with temperature control if the shower valve is designed for balanced feeds i.e. equal hot and cold feed pressures. So if your cold water is fed directly from the incoming mains pressure and your hot is indirectly fed from a hot water cylinder with little head pressure, you can have a similar issue. If none of the above apply then it may be prudent to replace the thermostatic cartridge within the shower valve. I hope this helps and that you get sorted, if you haven't already. Thanks. Technical Team.

Hello there Lucy, The height of the riser for this Milan Modern Shower is adjustable. The range of 682mm - 1097mm given is from the centre of the bar valve to the centre of the wall fixing point. You would then add 155mm to get the total height. The total maximum height would be 1252mm. All the best, Shaun

      Answer:

Hi Deb, this thermostatic shower valve is plumbed in to your hot water system. If you are looking for a shower that attaches to you taps and already have a bath/shower mixer, we would recommend looking in the Slider Rail Kits section of Showers on our site. I hope this helps!

Hi, the two parts of the riser rail attach together with the wall fixing bracket acting like a 'coupling' or similar. This can then be attached to the wall.

    • Q.  Does the hot/cold inlet pipes have to be in a certain orientation i.e. cold on the right hot on the left?

      Answer:

We don’t recommend a length that you can change this to. The pan has been flush tested for the length of the pipe supplied, if this is reduced it could affect the flushing capability of the pan.

    Large fittings

We had to build a false wall to hold the fittings tat this comes with our walls simply were not deep enough. They stick very far out and work on a s shape which made it difficult to ensure the pipe work was secure to the wall.
