Traditional Basins

VP's products are of excellent quality, I'd give them 8 out of 10. The glaze on the WHB around the overflow and the hole for the plug chain is thin giving a grey appearance in that area. For the basin pedestal the internal shape is tapered/wasted and I found that I couldn't lower the WHB with traditional trapped bottle gully trap attached to the basin down through the pedestal, instead I had to side slide it in and secure the pedestal later. Please also be very careful when buying WHB taps. Traditionally both pillar taps are turned anti-clockwise for on and lever taps are turned contrary to each other, the hot tap working in reverse manner to the cold tap. However VP now have pillar taps that work the same as lever taps so in a bathroom you could have bath taps working in the traditional manner and WHB taps working like lever taps, very confusing. I'd give 2 out of 10 for their support empathy and understanding, sympathetic yes but what good is that if they can forge a solution, SH was so full of himself, respect is earned not demanded. From my experience their support staff have very little plumbing experience and understanding, it took me over 3 week to get a resolution on the tap anomalies as encountered above, I kept getting passed from one staff member to another, no idea who is next going to deal with your query. I also found within VP that although their staff are willing to help they just don't have that plumbing background or experience to resolve plumbing issues. 3+ weeks waiting, in the end I sourced out 2 new inserts for the taps for £7 and replaced them myself.
