A great upgrade
14th September 2026This was the final addition to our bathroom renovation. It originally had an old 1970s suite, complete with an old light fitting/shaver plug. This mirror fit the space perfectly, and was super easy to install. Might be a bit fiddly if you don't have the wiring already in place, but an electrician would easily be able to piggy back off of your lighting run to support this. We got the mirror on a fair deal as well. Always a winner.

Why does my bathroom mirror steam up?
Bathroom mirrors steam up because steam from hot water condenses on the mirror’s colder surface. This happens frequently in bathrooms, especially due to the large amount of steam generated by a shower. Fortunately, there’s an effective solution: heated bathroom mirrors.
How do demister mirrors work?
A demister bathroom mirror (or anti-fog mirror) works by applying a small amount of heat to its surface, which prevents condensation from forming. Since the mirror is no longer cold, it doesn’t attract water vapour and is less likely to condensate. Many heated bathroom mirrors also come with additional features, such as LED lighting or built-in Bluetooth speakers.
Can you put a demister pad on any mirror?
Demister pads can be applied to various types of mirrors, but it depends on a few factors. For instance, it depends on how the mirror is mounted, as demister pads are attached to the back of the mirror, and whether it's possible to supply power to the pad.
