Rigid Riser with Diverter, Shower Handset & Round Fixed Head

Gravity Fed Systems: If you live in an older property, there’s a good chance you have a low-pressure gravity-fed system. This is a terrific looking shower and works perfectly in our new bathroom.

Good stuff
Have dropped the handheld shower head twice in the past week and it has not a scratch. The item is well described in the product description and comes with easy to understand instructions. Looks exactly like the pictures and does what its supposed to do.

Alyssia Dawson from London - verified purchaser

Beautiful and quality shower
We purchased 2, to replace old ones, despite some concerns after reading comments about issues with installing them after tiles are in place. Fortunately, our installer is very experienced and he did a great job. The showers are very stylish and they look elegant in our shower rooms, without compromising the practicality and ease of operation: the taps and thermostat can be turned very easily, versus the slippery ones of our previous “modern design” model.

Maria Magdalena Herrera Trejo from Northumberland - verified purchaser

Nice shower
Thermostatic shower controls. All looks good and works well.

Michael Turner from Isle of Wight - verified purchaser

Lovely Looking Shower for Price but Must Be Fitted Before Tiling!
Love the design of this shower and really reasonable price for style compared to other brands. Only trouble is it needs to be fitted before you tile so not great for a lot of people. This was not a problem for us though as we were doing a complete refit. Happy with our purchase!

Chatsworth Thermostatic Shower
As some folk have mentioned it is a bit of a puzzle to fit. I luckily have my hot and cold plumbing in a cupboard behind this wall which I was able to secure to wood batons. I fitted a compression-fit female adaptor to the copper pipe flush with the wall and then tiled the room. Added some ptfe tape to the valves and screwed as tight as I could (with a small bit of silicone between the adaptor and tile) get without cracking the tiles.. once the top bracket is secure and the shower assembled it is pretty solid. It looks the part once complete.

Thomas from Glasgow

Disappointed
Unfortunately this unit needs to be fitted before any tiling takes place. I had to return it and order a different shower. Victorian plumbing customer services were excellent and I was happy with the new item received which could be fitted with the tiles already in place.

Sabine J Walkden from Norwich

Horrible to fit!
As a fitter, this is a terrible product. Most shower mixers you can tile with stop ends on the copper coming through the tile. This mixer require a female thread to be set behind the tile making it a disaster to fit. You must pressurise and test the pipe work prior to beginning any tiling as you then must fit a female iron behind the tile, which isn't ideal to be winding into after tiling a bathroom. Just fitted this valve for a third time. And will say that I will just say no if asked to do once more!

Technical Team. replied on 14th September 2021

Hi, This is a stand alone shower valve with both fixed head and hand held shower spray, yes you could situate over the bath or in a bespoke shower cubicle. Thanks. Technical Team.

I dont quite understand how to fit this. Do you have to install valve to correct depth and tile around it while in position?

Asked by Matt

ANSWER

Technical Team. replied on 2nd August 2021

Hi, There is a plumbing process to fitting this type of valve, and yes the valve does sit within the wall and is screwed / secured and you then connect your pipework. You then complete your tiling and then finally install the shower valve on to the finished tile surface. I would stress that it is a job that needs tradesperson skills. Thanks. Technical Team.
