I have undone the screw in the tap head but cannot remove the tap head itself, how do I do this?

Asked by AlanB

ANSWER

Technical Team. replied on 4th January 2022

Hi, Once you have removed the screw then just gently tap the head with the rubber end of your hammer in an upward motion this should free the head. Thanks.

Would this be compatible with an instant water heater (e.g. Redring powerstream)?

Hi, You will need to ensure that the heater produces a minimum of 0.5 Bar pressure for the tap to work. Thanks. Trade Team.

how do I get access to replace the cartridge/washer

ANSWER

Alan Rigby replied on 16th February 2021

Hello, Thank you for the question. To do this, you'll need to simply unscrew the tap head from the body of the tap. However, be sure to remember to turn both hot & cold water feeds first. Hope this helps!

Is this tap a single or double flow (bi-flow) tap?

Asked by Mick W

ANSWER

Shaun replied on 30th May 2019

Hello Mick, This is a single flow product. If pressures are not balanced I would recommend installing a pressure reducing valve on whichever water supply has the greater pressure. You will then be able to reduce the pressure until both match. All the best, Shaun
