Burlington Chelsea Traditional Taps

Build quality, finish, ease of installation all excellent. Just one thing: pop up waste does not open enough. In spite of endless adjustments it is impossible to get the plug to open sufficiently. There is not enough ‘travel’ in the mechanism. So the basin does not empty properly/quickly. Only answer is to remove the plug altogether.

After putting up with a cheap tap which repeatedly suffered washer failure and would not turn off or on smoothly, I replaced with this one. Absolutely perfect, should have done it a long time ago. Looks like it will last for years. Quality finish.

Bought this to go with our Burlington Edwardian Medium Basin & Chrome Wash Stand - it looks great and so easy to use. Nice to have a more traditionally styled Monoblock basin tap even if authentically speaking Victorian or Edwardians wouldn't have had a Monoblock tap. I was so frustrated by the two tap hole bridge tap options I replaced my whole sink and taps and this just makes for a pleasing handwashing experience all around.
