Lovely sink

11th June 2026

Lovely sink but would have been helpful to have the tap holes pre drilled and also the screws for the brackets were extremely difficult to get in, the holes for them to go into had no thread so had to be screwed prior to fitting to make it easier. Didn’t find this out until after the sink had already been put in place.

Quality sink

This is a really nice sink, it looks like quality feels like quality and my wife and I are extremely pleased with it. I fitted it my self you will need a 35mm hole saw for the tap. Very happy.

FAQ's

Black kitchen sinks are a stylish and practical choice for many kitchens, but keeping them looking their best requires a little attention. In this guide, we'll cover the basics of maintaining your black sink, from everyday cleaning tips to preventing water marks, as well as the different styles available.

What styles of black sink are there?

You can get a black sink in essentially every style you can get any other sink. Some of the key styles they're available in are undermount, Belfast, ceramic and composite, as well as double and 1.5 bowl designs.

How do you keep a black kitchen sink clean?

You can keep your black sink clean the same way you keep any other sink clean, with regular maintenance and rinsing after use. Black kitchen sinks do not require any special products for cleaning. However, it is good to make sure you’re not using harsh chemicals or abrasive products as this can damage the finish.

For day to day use it's always a good idea to rinse your kitchen sink down with water after use, or soapy water if you’re had something particularly messy in the sink. It's also a good idea to wipe down your sink with a solution of white vinegar and water on a regular basis to help combat limescale or water stains.

Do black sinks leave water marks?

All sinks are susceptible to water marks as they’re caused by water gathering in one place and evaporating, which leaves behind a mineral residue. However, due to a darker finish, black sinks might make the water stains more visible. This staining is easily avoided with regular cleaning maintenance followed up with drying off your sink with a microfibre cloth every evening.
