Croydex Shower Curtains

This is the third time I buy the same shower curtain. I really like it. It lasts about three years before needing replacement. But this time something has happened that really worries me. It has an unbearable smell of plastic (like nail polish or remover), very strong and very stubborn. I have hung it outside for three whole days and when I bring it back in, it still has this pungent strong smell. I am about to give up. I cannot live with it. I will hang it out for two more days.

I love the design of this shower curtain, it fits in with my bathroom decor perfectly. Only a bit annoyed that after over a month up there are still very harsh creases where it was folded in the packaging, which ruins the aesthetics somewhat! It's also not that hydrophobic so does hold some water on the surface for a while after showering which can exacerbate damp issues.
