Soap Dispensers

A soap dispenser can finish off your basin area while keeping your favourite hand wash close by. Choose from freestanding designs, wall mounted options that free up space and a range of colours and finishes. Here's what to consider before picking one.

Should I choose a wall mounted or freestanding dispenser?

A freestanding soap dispenser is easy to move and works well where there's room beside the basin. A wall mounted soap dispenser keeps the surface clear, making it a good option for a small cloakroom. If space is tight, a compact design gives you room to press the pump and lift the bottle out when it needs a top-up.

Are all the parts made from the same material?

Not necessarily. A soap dispenser might have a ceramic or glass bottle, a metal holder and a plastic pump or cap. If you've picked one for its metal look, the product details will show you what the bottle and pump are actually made from.

How much soap do dispensers hold?

A larger bottle means fewer refills, while a compact dispenser can be a better fit beside a small basin. Refilling differs too: some bottles lift out or have a wide opening, while others have a screw top that can be fiddlier to remove and fill.

Will the pump dispense soap smoothly?

It should press and spring back without sticking, although the amount of soap you get with each press varies by design. A pump that sticks or stops dispensing isn't working as it should.

Will a soap dispenser drip between uses?

Some can. If you’d rather keep stray drops off your basin, look for a design with a "no drip" spout.
