The Trafalgar Victorian Exposed Valve with Rigid Riser Kit, Diverter, 8" Shower Rose, and Handset in Chrome is the perfect addition to traditional mixer showers. It features two easy-to-operate controls - one for adjusting the stream and the other for achieving the right temperature. The built-in anti-scald device provides safety in case the cold water supply fails. The handy slide rail kit allows you to position the 8" shower rose at the angle you need. Its solid brass and chrome construction ensures both sturdiness and style.

Style Over Substance

Bought this shower and looks great. However 13 months later when out of guarantee shower valve needed replacing and shortly afterwards diverter valve needed replacing. Poor quality and not what I expected for the price. Advice DON'T BUY if you want your new shower to last longer than a year.

Looks Good, Breaking Within a Year.

Bought on July 2022, by July 2023 the thermostatic shower valve (the bit that turns it on and off) has started to become really stiff, it is hard to turn, it sometimes wont turn off. We were very happy with the whole unit when we first got it, but its feels flimsy and has started to break down very quickly. Feels as if it was built for appearance but not built to last.

Mixer issue

It is as shown and easy to clean. In less than 3yrs, the mixer is not working, and I am disappointed. The hot water brings out lukewarm water instead of the desired hot water.

A Year on and It’s Failed

Paid up for this thinking it would last a long time. It looks fantastic but less than a year later the cartridge has already failed leaving the shower constantly dripping when turned off. Had the plumber out and typically it’s not a cheap cartridge and the replacement unit is approx £90+. I’ve decided to remove it and replace it with a basic bar shower valve. Very disappointed considering the price and the short time it’s been installed.

Looks nice but a year on falling apart

We bought this a little over a year ago and while it looks nice we have never been able to get the mixer to be anything other than really hot and a year on the temperature indicator is falling off.

Worth the money. Looks absolutely spot on in our bathroom and works really nicely. Very pleased with it. We wipe it down every night to prevent lime scale damage as the polished chrome looks really nice all clean! Would recommend!
