Hi, the measurement of 515 is from the wall to the far side. The measurement of 730mm id from the edge of the bracket the the far side of the rail. Thanks, hope this helps!

How large would the shower curtains have to be on this model?

Confused about dimensions: is ring 700 or 730 across? And what is the projection from the wall?

The 700 mm measurement is from the middle of the bar ( ring) to the middle on the opposit side. The 730 mm measurement is from the end of the bracket at the wall to the other end of the ring. ( so will be the projection from the wall )

Great sturdy design

Easy to install. Great for rounded end baths when a glass shower screen just wouldn't work.

Looks great, but not easy to fit..

Pleased with the final results and look of this shower rail. Yes, it's mightily expensive but it is great quality. I found fitting it quite difficult due to it's weight and marking out the screw holes. This has to be done while it's fully assembled so makes it even more tricky. I resorted to doing one side and allowing it to hold against the sealing, then I could mark the other holes fairly easily...With hindsight it would have been easier if there was a template, or if I'd bothered to make one from some scrap wood...

Good Quality But Unnecessarily Heavy

It's heavy... I recently installed one for a friend and it's weight and the design make fitting a bit fiddly, especially if you're fitting it without an additional pair of hands. Good tip is to assemble it and transfer the screw positions to a single large card template to ensure wall socket screw spacing is absolutely exact - and level. I used same size screws as supplied but got proper (Pozidriv 2 head) stainless steel ones from a trusted supplier bought separately as the originals didn't look too good. Same goes for the supplied wall-plugs which were not up to the job.
