"Easy to attach, solid built and looks great."

Does what it is meant to.

This is a nice useful little accessory that allows the renewal of a mucky pull cord with a new one of any chosen length. Being stainless steel it won't rust. My only criticism would be that the drilled hole through which you thread the upper section cord through to tie a knot in it, is fiddly by being so small. It took a long time to twiddle and wax the cord to get a point on the soft fluffy fibres of the cord and thread it through the hole. It was finally achieved by poking the thread with a very sharp point and then I carefully tied a knot in it to stop it pulling back out again. I fear that the item would need to be a lot more complicated and expensive if a threading system was built-in. Anyhow it's there in place and unlikely it would pull my knot through and fail any time in the next 20 years! It looks good and has smartened up the light pull for very little outlay. I'm grateful to Victorian Plumbing co for stocking this hard to find item.

"Quality item, but a bit over priced and packing was way over the top in quantity - size of a rugby ball! and cost. A jiffy bag would have sufficed, and at much less cost for this unbreakable item. It's easier to remove the ceiling switch and fit this connector on a flat surface, then try to do it reaching up on a chair."

It works perfectly - quite expensive but will last a lifetime.
