With its bidet wash function, heated seat and dryer, the Metro Smart Toilet is a luxurious and hygienic choice. This multifunctional toilet is also compact – it projects just 650mm from your wall. Simply set the temperature of the seat, jet, and dryer to suit, twist the water nozzle and you're good to go. The control panel is simple to use, and thanks to its power-saving features, you'll not only economise on toilet paper but electricity too. This pan has a soft close toilet seat that glides silently shut and a geometric shape that's ideal for modern bathrooms.

Japanese style toilet

Even I'm 5'8 i feel it a bit too tall. Its 42cm height without the toilet seat which i didn't know until i sat on it. If the close couple can be 4cm shorter then it will be ideal. Hopefully some Japanese make like toto and inax can be bought here soon or later. Its a good alternative to real Japanese toilet anyway.

Cracks on seat

Hairline cracks started to appear on the seat, so I purchased more supports from Amazon glued them towards the front of the seat. I have now had it over 4 years without any problems.

Does Not Last

I can see other comments relating to the toilet which highlight the huge issue of the brittle seat. We have had two of these toilets, one which gets little use, however both have now developed serious cracks in the seats which will soon cause it to break. These appear over the pads on the underside. As these complaints have been made over a number of years I am surprised that changes have not been made. It is not an economic option if you have to replace the seat every one or two years!!! Beware.

I am installing the drainage and first fix plumbing please could you tell me what side of the cistern is the inlet valve , also is the toilet out let through the wall or directly into the floor, also does the item come with the t - valve as per the instructions many thanks shaun

Hi Shaun, The cold water inlet is on the left as you view front on, the T Valve is included and you can take the soil pipe away horizontally or use a bent pan connector to the left or right and down through the floor. Thanks. Technical Team.

Rear of pan waste connection & water feed

Hi Tony, The cistern does sit flush to the wall but the toilet pan waste area does not sit flush there is a 150mm approx. gap. Thanks. Technical Team.

We want to buy two Metro Smart toilets however we have two different exits for the waste one is through the wall horizontal and the other one is through the bottom (ground) therefore we need two different exists just curious if you have from both? Looking forward to hear from you.
