A luxurious, traditional ceiling-mounted racetrack shower curtain rail, designed to neatly hang your shower curtains in style. Our high-quality rails are made from premium tubing, hand-polished, and plated in chrome. The racetrack curtain rail comes complete with two ceiling support legs. Please note that the ceiling legs are not adjustable and are supplied at a fixed length.

can the ceiling supports be angled, or are they fixed to teh vertical?

Hello, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, these would not be able to be angled. The base plates that secure to the ceiling cannot be angled. Kind Regards.

do you sell or where can we buy the curtain hooks to fit this rail as our customer desperately needs them, they are bigger than standard sizes

What is the dimensions/ size of the chrome rail. I have a small corner bath and I want to know if this certain rail will be too large

Hi, the dimensions of this chrome curtain rail are as follows - 1100mm x 640mm approx, Diameter of tube 31mm and Length of ceiling supports 330mm. I hope this helps, please let me know if you require any further info.

curtains, can it hold 2 curtains, one on either side of the mounts. I have a free standing bath.

I understand that the height of the ceiling supports cannot be easily altered, but do they slide around the rail to allow for positioning of mountings to suit best fixing on ceiling or are they soldered/fixed to the oval rail

Hi Penny, the supports on the Oval Chrome Shower Curtain Rail can be moved around the rail slightly, but for maximum support it is recommended to fix them in the position shown. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please let me know!

Part No: RCTRK-CH you state the ceiling supports are non-adjustable. However is the ceiling mounting separate from the vertical tube? In other words with the right tools could I cut the verticals to a shorter length?

Hello, Unfortunately, we would not be able to give you a definitive answer on that. In the past, customers have generally wanted the Chrome Shower Curtain Rail at the given length. Also, please be aware that any alterations could void the warranty on this item.

Is it suitable to fit it on the plasterboard ceiling?

This curtain rail weighs approximately 7KG, so if fitted correctly should be ok to be fitted to a plaster board ceiling .

What is a race track? is there just one sower curtain which can be drawn back past the ceiling mounts so the curtain can hang on the wall side of the shower?

Hi Bll. "Racetrack shower curtain rail" refers to the shape of the rail. It's not possible to have a ceiling mounted type where the curtain draws past the mountings. You would need a wall mounted rail.
