Chatsworth Green Soft Close Toilet Seat

Beautiful item. Looks amazing in my fabulous new bathroom! Arrived promptly. I didn't realise how expensive toilet seats were until I started looking. Wow! They're pricey. But worth it for that perfect finish.

This toilet seat does a job and looks good. However I can’t seem to get the fittings tight enough to stop it moving around on the bowl.

Looks great but doesn’t fit well. Comes loose very quickly and the fittings aren’t great. Wouldn’t recommend.

Service from Victorian Plumbing faultless, it arrived swiftly and is as described. The product itself is slightly disappointing, even when tightened hard it would shift from side to side so I have used double sided tape but didn't get the bracket quite central when I made the crucial contact, so the seat is slightly to one side. The soft close mechanism means the seat has to be held in place briefly after lifting up, or it tries to close again!

I love the colour, it really adds a nice contrast to the bathroom and a touch of elegance.

This was purchased to replace an identical seat bought two years back. Hopefully this time it will last a little bit longer. Appearance looks good. It was easy to purchase and arrived as promised.

Lovely colour just what I’ve wanted and this is my second one now but they just don’t last. So costly if having to replace all the time, so going for a cheaper product 🙁

The toilet seat was perfect colour. The delivery worked. However- and that’s a big however- the hinge going into our toilet went crooked every time we sat on it. We tightened up until we worried we would break the porcelain. Ended up taking the old corroded hinge off our old seat and drilling new holes to fit it. So far so good. Our toilet is an older one 1980’s but it should have fitted properly.

Very well packaged with clear fitting instructions and colour looks exactly as I expected based on website photos. Panicked briefly when packaging box said colour was white but it was green as expected. Only part of fitting which was a challenge was very first step ie fitting vertical rubber washers into holes on toilet itself as middle part of washer bulges out and you need all your fingers on one hand to compress this section whilst pushing from top with other hand. After numerous failed attempts I realised bottom section of washer was partially visible on underside of pan so by pulling from below with snub nosed pliers and pushing from above with other hand it finally slid in. Rest of installation was very straightforward. Fairy liquid (other brands are available) on washers also helped
