Will a bottle trap fit my basin and existing pipes?

It depends on the size of your basin waste and existing pipework. Bottle traps come with different connections, and you may need an adaptor to join the trap to your existing pipe.

That depends on where the wall pipe sits. To start with, you should compare the distance from your basin to the wall with the pipe lengths supplied. Some bottle traps have adjustable heights or outlet pipes, which give you more flexibility when the existing plumbing is awkwardly placed.
