Squeaky!

The toilet seat creaks and squeaks as it closes! Fitting fairly straightforward, but it doesn't have any instructions. Unlike others there is no release button, so removal may be hard.

Closes Gently

Had a problem with a short toilet purchased from a DIY chain, which they stopped supporting just 12 months after original purchase. This one seemed to be the best fit (having searched the web) and looks like it could be the supplied with it ( if you hadn't seen to original). The seat is comfortable and the soft close works well. The top lid takes about 15 seconds to close so no slamming, but if you like to close it before flushing this could be an issue. Only had it 2 months so cannot comment on reliability. Would I recommend it - yes!
