The first one, that was replaced with no problems, peeled on the underside as it was a veneer, we used it until one of the brackets snapped. The second one did exactly the same but both brackets broke, in different places.

Good apart from some slight markings which resemble splits.

was very pleased with this seat, you get what you pay for and i thought it was a solid seat. It was not however solid wood but laminated, better in my opinion. After fitting i noticed that the seat did not sit upon all the rubber fittings on the base, only the two at the front as the hinge is too high at the back. As a result the seat eventually snapped after about 18 months. My toilet is standard with a flat seating area.

I bought this to replace a seat purchased with the toilet 3 years ago, and to match my bath panel. Whilst excellent in appearance and comfortable, the chrome fittings on the original seat had begun to corrode and the screws wore lose to the point that the seat was beyond repair, so the quality could be improved.
