Can this fitting be used to convert horizontal to vertical outlet?

Hi Mike, Yes, you could use that type of pan connector to come off the rear of your toilet pan and then in a downward vertical direction. Thank you. Technical Team.

Are all pan connectors the same diameter eg do they fit all toilet waste pipes or do you need specific size

Hello, Thank you for your question. The size of a waste pipe spigot is a British Standard measurement. As long as this is matched with a British standard pan connector you shouldn't have any issues. Kind Regards.
