I have one in a bathroom, where it has been up for the majority of five years plus. The trick is getting the twist fitting adjustment right and this can take time. Also make sure your walls are dry and free from dust etc when first installing. Finally these are not designed to take a heavyweight shower curtain, if that is what you want to use then buy a wall fixed rail instead.

For the sake of a couple of screws on each end this would have been a serviceable shower curtain rod.Took several attempts to install and make it stay up. Fell down overnight a day or two later and has fallen down twice since. All in less than a week.Don't waste your money

what is the maximum length the rod extends to

Hi, this product is available in two different sizes. The first size extends from 1060mm to 1830mm, while the other extends from 1100mm to 2600mm. Please select which size you require from the drop down window. I hope this helps!

Is this something that needs drilling in the wall?

Hi Andy, No this doesn't need to be secured to the wall. You just extend the shower rail and it stays in place. Hope this helps.

Is this a Vertical Rod to provide support or a horizontal shower curtain rod?

Hi Jezza. The Croydex telescopic shower cubicle rod uses a simple slide and twist action to lock the rod to the desired length. this is a horizontal rod. Hope this helps.
