Toilet seat

I wouldn’t normally think of writing a review for a toilet seat but here we are. The need for a slightly higher seat came about because I had to have a hip replacement and my son is hitting that magical age where parts of the body start hurting for no apparent reason! I didn’t want a weird shaped “disabled” toilet seat and surprisingly enough neither did my son! After much searching I came across this one. Yes, the price did put me off a bit as we are not billionaires but it has been worth every penny! It has given us a modest rise to our low level toilet and it fitted perfectly! In fact it is the first toilet seat we’ve had that has fitted our old style toilet! It is comfortable, sturdy, doesn’t wobble or slip and feels every bit the quality item that it is! I cannot recommend it enough, which, for a humble toilet seat, is saying something!

Was fitted as per instructions but side wings on front seat buffers contacted WC. Had to cut off wings to allow to close, no way would they fit on Armatige Shanks WC.

Raised seat

I had a very low toilet and had been searching for a raised toilet seat to assist with making the seating position more comfortable without the toilet looking odd. Found this seat and it totally transformed the comfort factor!! Good quality item

This seat raises the seating height securely and doesnt look out of place at all. So much better than the ones that just sit on the toilet with twist knobs on the side. They arent secure at all, look ugly and not easy to clean. This seat is exactly the same as a normal toilet seat so cleaning is easy. Although this is probably considered expensive it is totally worth the money if its to be a permanent item. The instructions for installation are super clear and precise. All in all an extremely worthwhile buy. Highly recommend. 😊

Solidly Engineered!

We needed to raise the seat of our bathroom toilet and most of the available seats are just a bit 'old peoples home' (no offence here, we are in our late 70's). This seat has just the right amount of extra height without it looking out of place, in fact it is perfect. Solidly built, clean design, and the soft closing mechanism is superb. Good quality item

This raised toilet seat is so good in so many ways. The quality is top class and when fitted does not look out of place at all. As it is fixed to the actual toilet it is very stable and secure. Comes with all the necessary fittings, which are also good quality, and the instructions are the clearest i have ever read! I actually called a professional plumber to install. Not because i couldn't do it myself, i could due to clear instructions, but because i could not remove the existing seat. It was completely steadfast so needed a professional removal. The plumber himself was very impressed with the seat. So much so he took a photo of the box so he could purchase same make in the future. So all in all i am very pleased with the seat. It provides exactly what it should and it aesthetically pleasing. Which is important. May be a little dearer than others but you really do get what you pay for.
