Does exactly what it should. Good quality product but a little expensive.

The only issue I have is that there isn't sufficient room behind the seat to enable it to stay upright but the lid does. However since the seat spends almost all of its time horizontal, it's not a big problem. Some measurements in the product advert would help future potential buyers.

Toilet seat

I wouldn’t normally think of writing a review for a toilet seat but here we are. The need for a slightly higher seat came about because I had to have a hip replacement and my son is hitting that magical age where parts of the body start hurting for no apparent reason! I didn’t want a weird shaped “disabled” toilet seat and surprisingly enough neither did my son! After much searching I came across this one. Yes, the price did put me off a bit as we are not billionaires but it has been worth every penny! It has given us a modest rise to our low level toilet and it fitted perfectly! In fact it is the first toilet seat we’ve had that has fitted our old style toilet! It is comfortable, sturdy, doesn’t wobble or slip and feels every bit the quality item that it is! I cannot recommend it enough, which, for a humble toilet seat, is saying something!

Was fitted as per instructions but side wings on front seat buffers contacted WC. Had to cut off wings to allow to close, no way would they fit on Armatige Shanks WC.
