This is the most I've paid for a toilet seat but was sick of cheaper seats slipping after a few days use. I wanted something that looked good but was also robust and wouldn't move. It's been a month now since I installed it. Installation was easy and the seat felt solid, doesn't budge at all. A month on and this is still the case. The soft close action was a bonus and works well without taking too long to close. Not sure we'll remove the seat to leanbut that function does work as it should. The seat is definitely worth the money and we will buy again when our other seats need replacing.

Great looking seat, shame about the soft close
We first of all loved this toilet seat and excellent service from Victorian plumbing, loved it so much we ordered a second for our other toilet. Looks great and feels great.
However shortly after receiving our second seat the first seat soft close mechanism started to creak on close and does so to this day. At first I thought it could be a fault seat but then the second seat has also started creaking.
Nice seat I question the longevity of them.
