Croydex Portland White Sit Tight Toilet Seat with Soft Close and Quick Release

This is the most I've paid for a toilet seat but was sick of cheaper seats slipping after a few days use. I wanted something that looked good but was also robust and wouldn't move. It's been a month now since I installed it. Installation was easy and the seat felt solid, doesn't budge at all. A month on and this is still the case. The soft close action was a bonus and works well without taking too long to close. Not sure we'll remove the seat to leanbut that function does work as it should. The seat is definitely worth the money and we will buy again when our other seats need replacing.

Stable, good fit, reasonable price, quiet closing.

We first of all loved this toilet seat and excellent service from Victorian plumbing, loved it so much we ordered a second for our other toilet. Looks great and feels great. However shortly after receiving our second seat the first seat soft close mechanism started to creak on close and does so to this day. At first I thought it could be a fault seat but then the second seat has also started creaking. Nice seat I question the longevity of them.

Great product and service

I bought 2 of these and they look amazing - much better than the plastic ones I replaced them with. They are easy to clean and look quality. One of them is difficult to stay upright if lifting the full seat [ that men do] - might be more about how it was installed but the other is perfect. Just this one simple seat can make such a difference to the look of the bathroom and because it is so easy to clean is recommended.
