I just wasn't that impressed with this toilet seat. It's oak "effect" and feels kind of fake/a bit cheap/plasticky. Plus the rim is narrow so not particularly comfortable and it's very short - in fact didn't look like it would fit when we first got it out. Managed to make it work, just about but when attached it doesn't hang over the edge at all which isn't ideal aesthetically or in terms of comfort and practicality. I would not have bought this seat if I'd been able to see it in real life. Sorry but can't recommend.

Found the Needle in a Hay Stack
I really wanted a wooden looking toilet seat for our classical looking new bathroom, but couldn’t find a proper and affordable one for the D-shaped toilet we have in my own country (The Netherlands). After scouring the internet I found this one, and since we travel to the UK a few times a year, I ordered it to be delivered at our friend’s house across the pond. Excellent Replacement
This toilet seat comes with comprehensive instructions on how to fit it. There are two methods of attaching the seat and I used the top attachment which makes replacement so much easier. You don't have to grope around under the toilet to fasten it down. The soft close action is also very effective. In addition, once attached, by pushing a small button you can remove the seat for cleaning. All together this is an excellent product.

Fitting explanations were clear and easy to follow. Parts all complete. Cost about half of another item (from a different supplier) which was a pain to fit, and is now broken. So overall good value too.
