How We Gather Reviews
Cetainly not no slip
The actual wooden seat and lid are very good quality and would provide a good looking toilet seat that is very comfortable in use. The problem is with the metal and plastic fittings for the toilet bowl. I have fitted the seat 3 times now and each time it slides off the top of the pan and sits to one side. These comments apply to a toilet pan where the fitting has to be done so from the top only and is not held in place by a nut fixed from below the toilet pan. The pity is that if it had fitted and stayed in place the product would have a very high rating overall. As it is I shall probably have to replace it with the original plastic seat which at least sits squarely on top of the pan. The fittings are definitely not 'no slip' as described on the box.

Fitting the Toilet Seat
Top Fitting Seat - I am not a plumber but managed to get round all the problems. Lot of problems getting out the old rusted fittings of the old seat. The parts supplied to fit the new seat did not work because the holes in the top of the pan were fractionally to small. Managed by a combination of grinding off some of the porcelain and finding some plugs I happened to have managed to fit the seat.
