DISSATISFIED - GAP BETWEEN SINK AND UNIT AT FRONT TOO BIG

When the sink has been fitted to the unit there is approx 20mm gap between the front lower sink curve and the unit, you can see into the unit through the gap. Contacting VP was very difficult regarding this. Emails were not replied to. I had to contact via live chat several times for an update on the issue, after being told that they would personally get the information & update my emails. Eventually, after chasing through the live chat, I was informed that the supplier said this gap was to prevent water ingress into the unit, which I'm struggling to believe. Even on the side view pictures of the product it does not show the gap, It's flush. I stated that I've had 3 of this type of unit (not the same make) and the sinks fit perfectly, only a couple of mm gap, not 20mm where you can get your fingers in the gap! It seems to me that the sink is too deep fro the unit that it is on, It does not look right. Overall, a terrible experience with VP. The end customer is not happy with the look of the product, I'm left in-between, trying to work out a solution. I won't be using VP in the future.

Vanity unit basin not sitting flush water dripping inside

This unit comes with little instructions. The unit's basin does not sit flush with the edge of the unit. There's an inch gap letting water down the inside of the unit. Plumbers suggested that's it's build this way. I am very unhappy with this product. I also bought a mixer tap and again the image on the website doesn't show that the tap leaver features a whole in the handle. Both items were different to what I expected and too costly to return as P&P costs for these heavy items are passed onto the customer. On a separate point, followed the delivery instructions and explained to the delivery man that I'd like to check the item for damages as recommended by Victorian plumbing. The man said he doesn't have time to hang around and just walked away leaving the palette in the middle of the carpark. I am hugely disappointed with both items and the service. .. and to top it there's no one to contact to ask about items or for help. Will never buy from this company again!

Unexpected

Basin unit over hangs the vanity unit by 2 inches which I did not expect. No pre drilled holes in the side cupboard doors. Otherwise nice vanity unit with soft close doors and smart high gloss finish.

Convenient pre built sink and storage unit.

We found it difficult to find a metre wide unit. This does the job well. The unit comes pre built so you just add the sink. The sink is good quality and easy to clean. The flat areas either side are useful. The images show the sink as one flat piece and stepped- it is flat across which is what we wanted. The sink is a slightly creamier white than the bright white unit. The only thing I don’t like is the handles- I would have preferred a rounded style or knobs, but there wasn’t a choice. Overall the unit has plenty of storage and feels well made.
